Hi, I’ve been having tough creative times lately, so I’ve resorted to throwback photos for this week.
I don’t want to take a break because in the long run I know that’ll be a mistake (aka, I’ll stop completely), but I do need a bit of a mental break as I continue to figure out where I want to go and how to make myself motivated to get there.
Thankfully, being a photographer, I’ve gathered quite the back stock of photos. Today, we dive back into a few black and white goodies.
A reason I love photography is the ability to look back on photos and remember the times they represent. Most of my throwback photography was taken during the darkest times of my life (when I was still in denial it was happening). Despite the pressure and loss my mind was dealing with, I was still able to focus and create photos that I still love to this day and that is the lesson I need to remind myself—light comes even in the darkest of places.
Is that Dumbledore I just misquoted? 😉
Thank you for stopping by and hopefully enjoying my photos with me!
