I am becoming so simple in fashion. Growing up, I was all about the bright colors and patterns, but now I just really like black, gray, brown, denim, and army green. Maybe some mustard yellow, but I’m pale, so gotta be careful with that one.
For today’s post, I put together my favorite “going out” looks that I literally wear EVERY TIME I GO OUT. No joke, it’s a variation of this simple look each and every time.
Let’s be honest, I don’t go out that much so it’s not really strange that I rotate only two outfits.
All right, I love high-waisted pants–anything to keep the tummy secure, so I grab either my blue denim pair or my black denim pair. Pretty simple.
To pair with it, I gravitate towards a black top (t-shirt, tank, lace, whichever) and layer it under my denim jacket (with the black jeans) or my army green jacket (with either).
For shoes, I’ve been loving booties. It’s not a new trend, but I finally was able to purchase some (and get some for my birthday) and they are the best thing every. Booties make me feel like a classy adult.
For jewelry, I like delicate necklaces, a statement ring or two, and definitely some hoops. A lot of times I don’t even wear jewelry and sometimes I’ll throw in a choker if I’m feeling funky.
That’s it! I do love fashion, but I’ve come to terms with just going with the flow until I’m financially stable enough to buy what I want. I am going to secondhand and thrift stores with my mom when I go home next weekend, though. I should have a post up about the goodies I find next week! Excited for that!
Thanks for reading my second fashion post! 😉 Stay tuned! There’s more to come!
