Love and Laughs

My good friend and roommate from college is MARRIED.

Here are a few pictures to document the wonderful time we had celebrating her and her new hubby. ๐Ÿ™‚

โ€ฆit was also basically a college reunion ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, that’s just a lot of my face, but when you don’t spend a lot of time taking photos for a blog postโ€”you know it’s time well spent with love and laughs.

Five Years

This weekend I’m home for my good friends’ wedding. (You will see more of that later.) Not only is it a special time for them, but also the bride’s older sister and husband who celebrate their five year anniversary. They asked for some pictures and we got it done in less than an hour!

We took photos at a place where I got my senior pictures done, haha, but it’s one of the most fairytale places in our small town. Here’s a few favorites, as well as a couple landscape because I can’t help myself.

Happy five years, Kristi and Sean!

Also, huge shoutout for the bride-to-be herself, Kayla, for tagging along as my assistant! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now off to a weekend full of love and fun!

Engagement Love

As you may or may not know, I’m a novice photographer with a definite starter camera. I mostly take pictures of nature or cool-looking inanimate objects, but my good friends Kayla and Ryan trusted me enough to take some of their engagement pictures!

Holy crap!

We did two locations with a couple outfit changes and a couple more beers. It was fun.

Here are the lovely shots by the lake:

(I feel like this one could be a book cover for sure.)

And now the stylish, fancy city pics! This is where the drinks came in. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pretty proud of these photos and also of my childhood friends! Happy, happy life to the two of them! Cheers!

Black & White Bliss

We’re getting crushed by snow here, so what better way to avoid it than to reminisce through a summer wedding!

I helped photograph this wedding with Jessica Hegland on a very warm, very humid day last summer. I was very sweaty.

For this post, I decided to mix things up and edit them in black and white, instead of their previous vibrant colors. Looks pretty cool to me! The detail in her dress is gorgeous!
