Use all of the following words in a piece of writing: feast, fire, modify, squash, robbed, forgotten, understated.
I never used to like squash.
At least, I thought I never used to like squash. Little yellow squash sautéed in butter with zucchini and garlic is quite the addition to a casual feast.
I suppose it’s possible to modify with the use of different vegetables. I also quite like brussel sprouts and asparagus.
Putting vegetables and little red potatoes sliced up together in a pan creates some pretty understated excitement, too. Whether it’s the artistic feel of colors and textures or just seeing a lot of food to eat, it’s a nice feeling whenever it happens.
Unfortunately, my free time gets robbed, but maybe I just sit on the couch in front of the fire too long, and that full pan of food remains a forgotten pleasure.
This is so weird, haha, but it’s a fun little exercise to make certain words flow in with your writing. Nothing like a short couple paragraphs to get the creative juices flowing!
